About Us

Over a period of 25 years Dandy Events have grown from a town centre party shop to a major event support company. Having found a niche market providing spectacular linen and tableware we expanded into props and accessories. Our aim is to be able to provide a local source of props and equipment for the north east’s event industry.

Piloted through the years by Denise and Richard they now have a team of 15 to help. Joanne, the longest serving member, has been with the company for over twenty years!

The team at Dandy Events are friendly, yet professional, with a flair for design and event aesthetics. We also understand that each client, each budget and each event is different, that’s why you’ll receive a service that’s personal to you.

You might like us to organise your full event, or you may prefer to create your own event, using products from our extensive hire collection. We’re here to help you make your event a success, whichever option you choose.

Our venue stylists consider everything from choosing the right table linen, chair covers and tableware, to dramatic lighting and entertainment. We take care of all the little details, so you and your guests can enjoy the big event.
